Portraits and Landscapes As an artist, my main domain has been portrait. I have always been expressing myself through painting of self-portraits or portraits of people around me. My approach is personal; I try to capture the inner side of the subject. The use of color is very important and dominant in my work. I believe what the famous and one of my favorite, Czech painter Jan Zrzavý, said about using color: "The color is the psychological force, the color is the visible soul."
